A memorial service for Joy Norwood Cumbaa, 68, will be Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 5:00 PM at Lacey’s Spring United Methodist Church with Bro. Jared Andrews officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 4:45 PM at Lacey’s Spring United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Cumbaa died on Friday, May 13, 2022 at Huntsville Hospital. She was born March 9, 1954 in Morgan County to Tom and Alice Norwood.
Mrs. Cumbaa was preceded in death by her parents. She graduated from Jacksonville State University and was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha. She loved being a teacher at Lacey’s Spring Elementary School where she taught for 25 years and she loved what she did. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and she loved her grandkids dearly.
