Joy Hardin Funeral service for Joy Hardin, 64, will be Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 4:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Hardin officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Cook Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hardin died on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Baptist Medical Center-Princeton. She was born December 24, 1959, in Morgan County, to William Wayne Watson and Betty Sue Slaten Watson.

She married Jimmy Hardin on September 29, 1978 in Morgan County. She worked in the mental health field, as a care provider, for over 25 years, serving the community by helping disabled adults. Joy truly lived life for others and loved taking care of people. Joy had the ability of reaching people in a positive way and made a positive impact in everyone’s life that she touched.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Betty and Wayne Watson and a daughter, Jennifer Hardin Prater.

Son – Joseph Hardin (Brandi)

Daughters – Jessica Nash (Aubrey)
Jamie Jones (Joe)
Julie Coats (Roberts)

Brothers – Tony Watson (Becky)
Jerry Watson
Joe Watson (Rhonda)

Nine Grandchildren

Son-in-law – Steven Prater

Pallbearers will be Tyler Watson, Aubrey Nash, Robert Coats, Joe Jones, Kenny Watson, Chris Watson and Steven Prater.
