  Joshua Allen Groves Profile PhotoJoshua Allen Groves, age 26, passed away on September 22, 2024, at St. Thomas West in Nashville, Tennessee. Born July 22, 1998, Josh lived a life that defied all limitations, fueled by an unstoppable spirit and an unforgettable, larger-than-life personality. Despite life’s obstacles, Josh’s resilience and determination knew no bounds. When he set his mind to something, nothing could hold him back. His brilliant mind and sharp wit were matched only by his heartwarming humor, as he always sought to put a smile on the face of everyone he met. With a silly, goofy nature and undeniable charm—especially around the ladies—Josh knew how to brighten any room he entered.

A proud graduate of Northside High School in Jackson, Tennessee, Josh left an indelible mark on the lives of all who knew him. His memory will forever be cherished by his loving family, including his grandparents, Ronald and Joyce Dyer; mother, Tina (Mark) Grooms; siblings: Wayne Phelps, James Groves, Autumn Groves, Cindy (Billy) White, Holly (Jay) Tindall, Chelsea Grooms, and Tyler Grooms; special aunt “Sissy”: Crystal Dyer; uncles: Chris (Jennie) Dyer and Anthony (Rebecca) Grooms; grandparents, Doris (Joe) Patterson; and great-grandmother, Shirley Grooms.

Josh was preceded in death by his beloved great-grandparents, Barbara Holland Scroggins and William Scroggins, grandmother Emily Ann Metcalf, and great grandfather Paul Grooms. Though his time on Earth was short, Joshua’s vibrant spirit, infectious laughter, and boundless love will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.

A Celebration of Life for Josh will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 1:00 Pm to 4:00 PM at Mason Wells Baptist Church, 825 Rocky Springs Rd, Beech Bluff, TN 38313.

The care of Mr. Joshua Allen Groves and his family has been entrusted to the staff of Williams Funeral Home.
