Mrs. Josephine Ragland Anderson, 94, Florence, died Monday, Jan. 12, 2015. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Rock Primitive Baptist Church, Florence. Elder Dr. Billy E. Brewton will officiate. The body will be placed in the church at noon. Burial will be in Rock Church Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be today, 5-7p.m., at Thompson and Son Funeral Home, Florence.
Mrs. Anderson was born Nov. 3, 1920, to Joe and Delphia Ragland.
Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Anderson, parents, her son, William O. Anderson, her brother, Booker T Ragland, and her sisters, Clara Ragland, Otis Ragland, and Helen Wilson.
Mrs. Anderson leaves to cherish her memories a devoted and loving daughter, Jean Jones; a dedicated and caring nephew and niece, Tracy and BeLinda Ragland; maternal grandson, Dewon Jones; grandson, William Boddie; two granddaughters; greatniece, Stacy Ragland; great-great-nephew, Kaden Ragland; loving cousins; and very special friends.
