Josephine McCarver Blizzard, age 83 of Fackler, AL transitioned to her Heavenly home surrounded by her family on Sunday, May 26, 2024.
Jose is survived by her daughter, Linda Garner Owens; sons, Wade Garner (Tammy), Bobby Garner (Tara), and Brian Blizzard (Becca); grandchildren, Silas Owens, Ali Blevins (Jacob), Nicklas Owens, Abbie Garner, Morgan Browder (Alex), Kenli Garner, Jamie Hunnicutt, Sarah Kate Garner, Hannah Blizzard, Kacy King, Kassidy Cunningham, Emma Cunningham; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Billy Garner and Floyd Blizzard; father, Dewey McCarver, Sr.; mother, Edna McCarver; sister, Betty Brooks; and brothers, Buren “Pete” McCarver, Campbell “Cam” McCarver, Paul David McCarver, Billy Joe “Gib” McCarver, Donald “Duck” McCarver, and Dewey McCarver.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Talley and Bro. David Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 5-8 p.m.
