Josephine Acklin, 79, died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014. Public viewing will be 1-7 p.m. today at Saints Chapel of Sheffield. The funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Brown Temple Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, Sheffield, with burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield. She managed Willie Green Recreation for over 40 years.
