Joseph Paul Robinson, 40, of Hazel Green, passed away on Sunday.
Paul was an intelligent, gifted, and creative person. He was quiet and caring and loved everyone. Paul had a passion for animals and was always willing to rescue and show kindness to God’s creation. He was also a gifted mechanic and welder and often enjoyed re-engineering and repurposing things.
When Paul was younger, he loved spending time with his Papaw Bill racing go-karts. In recent years, he looked forward to spending time with his nieces and nephews and was always making things for them.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Tim Bass Hillis, his uncle, Russell Hillis, and his grandfather, Bill Robinson.
Surviving family members include his parents, Nancy Hillis Pridmore and Marty & Cassie Robinson; His sister and brother-in-law, Amber & Don Green; His sister and brother-in-law, Mary & Jason Rodgers; His sister, Arlie Smith; His nieces and nephews: : Lexie Green, Hunter Rodgers, Jackson Green, Presley Newberry, Everett Green, and Wilder Rodgers; His grandparents, Lawin & Gaynell Hillis, Faye Robinson, and James & Nettie Elwell. His aunt and uncle, Jackie & Rick DeJesus;
Paul will be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit, his creativity, and for his love for others.
