Joseph “Pat” Hall Jr. of Huntsville went to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning while surrounded by his loving family.  He was 68.  He was a Christian and worshipped at the Gurley Church of God.  He loved people, especially children, and was always working to serve others – putting them before himself.  He dearly loved his family and spending time with them.

Mr. Hall was a man of many talents and could do anything he set his mind to.  He was a pipe-fitter and a gifted home builder.  He owned and operated JP Hall construction and had won several awards for his quality building skills.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph “Pete” Hall Sr and Alyne Hall; by his grandmother, Pinkie Moore; by his father-in-law, Jerry McMurray; by his nephew, Scott Burns.

Surviving family members include his wife of almost 50 years, Deborah Hall;  his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Jeremy Tucker; his son, Matt Hall;  his grandchildren:  Jackson Tucker,  Julee Tucker, Jordan Tucker, and Monterrey “Monty” Hall;  his sisters: Pam Morgan, Carol French, and Terrie Hankins;  his mother-in-law, Betty McMurray; his brother-in-law, Mark (Lorraine) Burns.  Mr. Hall is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends including special in-laws, Johnny & Judy Tucker.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11am until 1pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 1pm at the funeral home with Pastor Jason Martin, Reverend Nicky Bozarth, and Reverend Bubba Parton officiating.

Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
