Mr. Joseph Llowellyn Springer, age 60, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System Lawrenceburg. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Joseph was born on December 10, 1963, he was the son Harold Joseph Springer and the late Jane Helmer Wells. He worked in the service industry for many different companies. Joseph enjoyed hunting, fishing, relaxing outside under a shade tree, family cookouts, and a wide variety of older music. He never met a stranger and had a true servants heart as he would help anyone in need. He enjoyed his time as a volunteer firefighter and was known by his nickname “Tazz”.
He is survived by his daughter, Amber Clements of New York, brothers, Harold Springer, Jr. of New York and Frank (Beth) Springer of Columbia, TN; sisters, Bessie (Charles) Shapley of New York and Char Anderson of Columbia, TN, several nieces and nephews, and his father in law Danny Duncan of Lawrenceburg, TN.
In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his wife Anna Springer, his step father Darrell Wells Sr., and his grandmother Alice Helmer
