Joseph B. “J.B.” Patrick, Jr., age 71, of Florence, passed away Friday, November 9, 2012. Visitation will be Sunday, November 11, 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Spry~Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral service will be Monday, November 12, 3:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. C.S. Hendon officiating. Interment will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Benjamin Patrick, Robert Tanner, Timothy Kennamore, Lee Adams, Chris Hunt and Travis McCarley. Gary Brewer and Andy Taschner will serve as honorary pallbearers. Mr. Patrick was a retired driver and driver trainer with First Fleet of Huntsville. An avid Alabama fan, he was a charter member of Tide Pride & Crimson Tide Foundation and Alabama Alumni Association. He was a Mason out of the Florence Chapter. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Patrick; sons, Joseph B. Patrick III (Rita) and Jim A. Patrick; sisters, Betsy Stripling and Patricia Woods; grandchildren, Kristina, Rachel, Kerri & Benjamin Patrick; extended grandchild, Storme Alexander.
