Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Joseph “Eugene” Britton, age 82, of Belvidere, TN. Mr. Britton passed from this life on February 12, 2021. He was born to Samuel and Virgie Britton. Mr. Britton was a 1970 graduate of Franklin County High School. He worked for GM for 10 years then later retired from Goodman in 2007. Those who had the honor of knowing Mr. Britton knew he was very outgoing, never met a stranger, had a beautiful personality and was deeply loved by his family. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Mr. Britton leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted wife of 62 years, Gracie Kegley Britton; daughter, Charlotte (Mike) Otten of Park City, TN; sons, Anthony (Rita) Britton, Timothy Britton, all of Lincoln County; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Anna Sue Corie of Hazelgreen Ala, Rachel Richardson, Sara Coble, Vera (Alf) Murdock, all of Lincoln County; brother, Charlie (Vera) Britton of Hazel Green Alabama. He is preceded in death by son, Joseph Britton; 4 brothers and 1 sister. There are no services scheduled at this time.
