Joseph Edward Bailey, 90, of Claysville died in his home on June 1, 2024, surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his Wife of 55 years, Juanita Gentry Bailey; Two Sons Roger Dale Bailey and Joseph Wayne Bailey; and Great Grand-Daughter Addison Marie Bailey. He leaves behind his beloved daughter, Deborah Bailey. Edward was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved being surrounded by his ever-expanding family. Edward and Juanita had 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren. He left a lasting impact on those who knew him and will be greatly missed.
Mr. Bailey’s Visitation will be Monday, June 3, 2024, at Guntersville Memorial from 6:00PM until 8:00PM. His service will be Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at 12:00PM at Guntersville Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
