Joseph Carpenter

Joseph Carpenter was born on March 24, 1941 in Carrollton, Mississippi, the son of the late James and Mirtle Alma Carpenter.

On July 8, 1995, he was united in marriage to Norma Jean Tidwell, who survives.

Joseph served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. He retired from Quebecor as a pressman. Joseph loved being on the lake and boating.

He is survived by his wife Norma Carpenter of Counce, Tennessee; daughter, Renee Carpenter; son, David Carpenter; step daughters, Pam Robinson and Beverly Turnbow; grandchildren, Aaron Owens and Jimmie Turnbow; and great grandchildren, Rylee Turnbow and Emberlynn Tiger.

In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Beckwith; and brother, Calvin Carpenter.
