Joseph Allen Woodruff, Sr., 74, Muscle Shoals, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 1, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Chad Holder officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Decatur.
Joseph was a member of York Bluff Baptist Church, Sheffield, and was a Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Rosa Woodruff; infant twin brothers; older brothers, Willie, Tommy, and Frankie; and sisters, Rosie and Frances.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Judy Woodruff; sons, Joseph Allen Woodruff, Jr. (Karen) and Anthony Woodruff (Kristy); brothers, Bobby Woodruff and Marvin Woodruff; sisters, Alice Baumgarth and Dorothy Mixon; grandchildren, Madison Woodruff, Trey Woodruff, and Cayla Clark; great-grandchildren, Makenlee, Sophia, and Zaden; and step-grandchildren, Brandon Petitti and Nicole Bruce.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Woodruff, Jr., T. J. Woodruff, Trey Woodruff, Brandon Petitti, Jonathan Cassetty, and Benjamin Cassetty.
