Josefa Lopez Aragon, age 54, of Crossville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2024, at Marshall Medical Center South. Born on July 11, 1970, she was the cherished daughter of the late Bernardo Lopez and Rosenda Lucia Alonso.
Josefa devoted her life to her family, raising her children with love and perseverance. She is survived by her children: Alfredo (Hannah) Aragon, Filemon (Erica) Aragon, David Aragon, Rocio (Casey) Hames, Daniel Aragon, Jesus Aragon, and Maria Aragon. She was the proud grandmother of Xavier Aragon, Samuel Aragon, Austin Hames, Noah Hames, Adrian Aragon, and Graciella Aragon, who were the light of her life.
In addition to her parents, Josefa was preceded in death by her beloved grandchild, Sophia Aragon, who now welcomes her into eternal rest.
A funeral service to honor Josefa’s life will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Adams Brown Service Funeral Home. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Memory Hill Cemetery.
Josefa will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her family, her resilience, and her warm, loving heart. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
