Jorge Luis Servin Sr., 51, of Brownsville passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Visitation will begin at 11 AM Monday at St. John’s Catholic Church in Brownsville where he was a parishioner. Funeral services will be 2 PM Tuesday at St. John’s with interment to follow in Servin family cemetery. Garner Funeral Home of Ripley has charge of the services.
Mr. Servin was a logger for Jeff Drake logging company.
The husband of Lionicia Servin, he is survived by 5 daughters Anita Servin of Jackson and Guadalupe Servin, Thania Servin, Elizabeth Servin, and Selena Servin all of Brownsville; a son Jorge Servin Jr. of Murray, KY; a sister of Ma De La Luz of Mexico; 6 brothers Placido Servin of Mexico, Javier Servin and Hector Servin of Brownsville, and Jesus Servin, Ignacio Servin, and Sergio Servin all of Jackson and 3 grandchildren.
