Jordan Wayne Laxson, age 31 of Athens, AL passed away at Huntsville Hospital on Tuesday, January 31, 2017. Jordan was born on November 30, 1985 in Morgan County to John and Jean Laxson.
Jordan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Otis Kennemer and Martha Beasley McConnell, and his brother Devin Blake Laxson.
Jordan is survived by his parents John and Jean Laxson of Athens; brother Jared Laxson and wife Rachel of Athens; grandparents, Glynn and Ermogene Laxson of Athens.
Services for Jordan will be Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Greg Tucker officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-9:00 PM on Friday, February 3, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Travis Lewter, Grant Pepper, Tyler Ray, Brian Jackson, Brady Aderholt, and Will Preston.
