Jonathan “Tubby” Walls – Obituary

Funeral for Jonathan “Tubby” Walls, 24, of Holly Pond will be Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ed Green and Rev. Doug Pitts officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Walls died Friday, May 10, 2013. He was born in Jefferson County to Charles Andrew Walls and Susan Denise Smith Walls. He worked for Holly Pond TIre & Lube. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church. Tubby loved drag racing. He had been working on cars and racing them since he was 14 years. old. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Chester Walls and Bobby Smith; uncle, Robert Walls.

Survivors include his parents, Andy and Susan Walls; fiancee’, Kala Kennamer; sister, Amber Walls; and grandmothers, Jo Ann Walls, Ruth Smith, many aunts, uncles, cousins and lots and lots of friends.

Pallbearers will be Eric Horton, Mason Stewart, Byron Smith, Jeff Jones, Matt Ryan, Yancy Taylor, Brandon Hardin and Keith Watts.
