Joie Casey, 77, died Saturday, September 8, 2018, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born December 28, 1940, to Clodie and Earldeal Young Casey. He owned and operated a dry-cleaning business in Flint, Michigan, for over 20 years before moving back to Fulton in 1993. He enjoyed fishing, and he loved the ministry at Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Church, where he enjoyed serving as a greeter.
Services will be private for the family. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include two daughters, Selenia Galleon of Fulton, and Lillian M. Ferguson of Flint, Michigan; three sons, Richard R. Banks of Woodland, California, Robert L. Banks of Guntown, and Mark A. Banks of Fulton; several brothers; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Willie M. Casey, who died in 2011; and his parents.
