Funeral service for Johnny W. Tidwell, 79, of Addison will be Monday, May 1, 2017 at 1:00PM at the Peck Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Pitts and Bro. Rodney Ridgeway officiating. Burial will be at New Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00PM to 9:00PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Tidwell died April 28, 2017 at his residence. He was born June 16, 1937 in Morgan County to William Alcaney Tidwell and Minnie Dovie Plunkett. Mr. Tidwell worked for Littrell Lumber Company. Mr. Tidwell was married for 53 years; loved by all his family and friends. He was known as a hard working man. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sons: Wesley and Joe Tidwell.
