Johnny Ray “Cotton” Trotter, age 66, of Jasper, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at St. Vincent’s Hospital.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 13, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, May 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Edgil Grove Baptist Church, he will lie in state from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Hancel Cox will officiate.
Mr. Trotter was preceded in death by his Father-James Claybourn Trotter; Mother-Mary Trotter; Father-in-law-Norman Kilgore; Mother-in-law-Martha Kilgore; 1 Sister and 4 Brothers.
He is survived by his Wife-Linda Trotter; Sons-Jeremy Trotter (Jennifer) and Johnathan Trotter (Misty); Sisters-Marie Boyd, Sharon Lawson and Diane Aaron; Brother-J.C. Trotter; Grandchildren-Katelyn Trotter, Ashley Pitts, Chase Inman, Samantha Sargent and Emily Sargent.
