Johnny O’Dee Collier, Sr., 68 of Muscle Shoals, died Friday, July 27, 2012. Visitation will be Sunday, July 29, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Monday, July 30, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Charlie James officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery.
Johnny was a native of Lawrence County. He retired from the City of Sheffield and was an avid race car driver and owner for 47 years.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda Sue Collier; son, Johnny Collier, Jr. (Ashley); grandchildren, Clay, Blake and Lilly-Kate; brothers, Jimmy Collier and Bobby Collier; and sister, Peggy Farley.
