Johnny Mack Irvin, of Huntsville, passed away at the age of 78 on April 8, 2024, surrounded by loved ones at his residence.
Johnny will forever be remembered and deeply missed by his devoted wife, Cecelia Buchanan Irvin, his grandson Brad Bennett (Brittany), his sister Diane Irvin Harris (Danny), and his great-grandchildren Rayleigh, Faira, and Mack. His memory also lives on in the hearts of a host of cousins and friends.
Johnny was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Lisa Irvin Bennett, and his parents, Ellis and Hearsteen Irvin. Additionally, he was preceded by his father-in-law, R.A. Buchanan, and his mother-in-law, Annie R. Buchanan.
A funeral service to honor Johnny’s life will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service, starting at 11:00 am.
Pallbearers, who will assist Johnny to his final resting place at Marshall Memorial Gardens, include Brad Bennett, Nick Bayne, Micah Glassco, Brandon Tidwell, Larry Matthews, and John Hawkins.
Johnny Mack Irvin’s legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to his family and community will forever endure, bringing solace and fond memories to all who were privileged to know him.
