Johnny Gray Profile PhotoJohnny Lynn Gray, 53, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at his home.  Born on January 10, 1970, he was the son of Johnny Lloyd and Sonja Brown Gray.  A lifelong resident of Monroe County, he attended Becker and Hatley Schools and he was married to the former Michelle Jernigan.  Johnny loved to pull a prank.  At Christmas, he would wrap random items to give as gifts just to see the look on their face.  He liked watching cooking videos and car racing, but more importantly he was a spoiling “Papa” to his granddaughters.  He loved online shopping and finding stellar gift card deals.  Oftentimes, he ate lunch with the delivery man and were on a first-name basis.  He loved to travel to the mountains or to the beach searching out hole-in-the-wall restaurants.  He was a member of the Christian Chapel Church of Christ.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Bro. Danny Carl Burks and Bobby Cleveland officiating.  Burial will follow in the Greenbrier Cemetery.
