Johnny Dickey of Pulaski, Tennessee passed away Tuesday evening, April 1st, 2025, at his home in Pulaski, Tennessee. He was born in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee on December 23rd, 1939 and was 85 years old.
Johnny was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed riding his four-wheeler, gardening, and taking care of cows. Above all he loved his family and having family gatherings.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 4th, 2025 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
A visitation will also be held from 10:00am to 12:00pm Saturday, April 5th, 2025 with funeral service to follow at 12:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Piece Funeral Home.
Private family burial will be at Abernathy Dickey Cemetery in Pulaski, TN
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin Cecil Dickey and Ura Dean Irwin Dickey, and sister, Sarah Lee Walker.

Wife of 57 years, Betty Sue Owen Dickey of Pulaski, TN
Sons, Waylon Dean (Danni) Dickey of Pulaski, TN
Stephen Owen (Kimberly) Dickey of Pulaski, TN
Grandchildren, Caleb Bass, Hunter Dean, Kaylyn Elise, Katie Elizabeth, and Kynlee Grace Dickey
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
