Mr. Johnny David Adams, age 69, of Sulligent, AL, passed away Friday, July 5, 2024, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

Johnny was born February 25, 1955, in Osceola, AR, to the late John Thomas and Patsy Ruth Edelman Adams.  He was a forklift and auto mechanic.  He enjoyed golfing (playing in his younger days but watching it always), spending time with his family, and playing online games with the friends he’d met online.  He attended many NASCAR races across the country and loved dirt track racing when his children were young.  Johnny never met a stranger, and the more he picked on you the more you knew he liked you.

In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by his sister, Jackie Adams, and his grandson, Ashton Adams.

Those left to celebrate his life include two daughters, Bobbi Jo (Brian) Jorgensen of Mobile, AL and Amanda Adams of Phoenix, AZ; two sons, Barry ( Amber) Adams of West Liberty, IA and Jonathan (Emily)Adams of Osage Beach, MO; his daughter-in-love, Jenee Sheehy of Winfield, AL; ten grandchildren, Madison, Ryder, Derek, Hunter, Kaylyn, Cooper, Greyson, Noah, Asher, and Jaylan; his brother, Thomas (Drew) Adams of Rockaway Beach, MO; his sister, Karen Adams of Sulligent, AL; and as well as nieces and nephews across the country.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to the staff at Davita Dialysis in Fayette, his caring home health nurse Angie whom was with him off and on over the last 8 years, and the amazing staff at DCH Tuscaloosa MICU3 where he spent his last three weeks.

The family has chosen cremation and will have a memorial service at a later time.
