Johnny Butler Smith, age 84 of
New Hope passed away July
29, 2018.
Mr. Smith is survived by his
wife of 57 years Mary Page
Smith; children David Alan
Smith (Pam), and Leigh Ann
Harton (Van Ewin); grandchildren
Jacob Lee Smith (Lauren), Grace
and Laura Marshall; brother
Jimmy Smith; sister Ann Miles.
Mr. Smith was the former
owner and operator of Smith
Construction. He was a member
of New Hope Church of
Christ and was a U.S. Army
veteran. He was co-owner of
Huntsville Speedway in 1961.
Visitation is Monday, July 30,
2018, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at
Berryhill Funeral Home. Funeral
service will be on Tues., July 31, 2018,
at 11:00 a.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home with
Rick Finch officiating. Burial
will be in Maple Hill Cemetery
