Johnnie Mae Harrison Threet, 85 of Florence passes away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016. A Celebration of Life will be Sunday, December 11th at 2:00 p.m. at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Florence with Dwayne McDuff officiating.
Mrs. Threet was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Berl and Annie Harrison and son-in-law, Ray Young.
Johnnie is survived by her daughters, DaRon Young, RoAnna Waynick (Lacy), and Amy Wilkerson; sister, Dolores Caponera; six grandchildren, Paul Young (Michelle), Zachariah Young, April Kelley (Donovan), Julianna Waynick, Brogan Wilkerson, and Chaslyn Wilkerson; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; an uncle, Kenneth Harrison; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members whom she loved dearly.
The family expresses special thanks to the “Angels” who did so much for their mother.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind Regional Center or the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church Logos Program.
