Beautiful was the life our dad Johnny Deloney was born on OCTOBER 24th in the year 1931 in Leighton, AL to Lelah Mae and WILLIAM Deloney. He was the oldest of three children. His siblings included Mini Pearl (Deloney)Brown and Wille Deloney. Johnny gave his life to Jesus Christ at an early age.
He worked as a machinist at Dupont in Chattanooga, Tn were he produced Nylon products. He retired after 20 years of service at Dupont
Johnny Deloney was a part of the UNITED STATES ARMY where he served in active duty and fought in the KOREAN WAR.
Johnny Deloney moved to Richmond, IN in 1971. He was an avid bowler, loved to fish and loved the Los Angeles Dodgers. He sang in the choir and was a deacon at the Mount Olive Baptist Church in Richmond for 17 years.
He later moved back to Leighton Al to take care of his aging mother.
Johnny is preceded in death by Lelah Mae Deloney, William Deloney, Mini Pearl (Deloney) Brown Anthony Deloney
He leaves a great legacy to be cherished by all who knew him:

Funeral service for Mr. Deloney will be:

Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, Leighton, AL
Rev. Jerry Reeves, officiating
Burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Leighton, AL
The body will be placed in the church at 12:00 Noon.
Public viewing will be Friday, 2-8:00pm.
