Johnnie B. Tyler, 74, of Oakman, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at Walker Baptist Medical Center. A graveside service will be held Monday, August 24, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Smith Chapel Cemetery in Carbon Hill. Arvy Dupuy will officiate. Ms. Johnnie was born in Carbon Hill, AL. She was home-schooled as a child and attended Winston/Marion Arc and Windows Without Walls Day Program as an adult until she decided it was time to retire. She leaves behind many friends who love her and have a lifetime of memories of her. Her favorite things included her pictures of family, friends, and adventures! She had a big heart for children and animals. She may be best remembered for her humor. She enjoyed joking, tricking, and scaring her friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gladys Mae Tyler and John Bolin; brothers, Henry Odell Tyler, James Olan Tyler, and Paul Gene Tyler.
