Johnie Lee Snider Johnie Lee Snider, age 72, of Phil Campbell, passed away on Wednesday, April 07, 2021 at North Alabama Medical Center.

Johnie proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He then worked for years as a farmer as well as several other jobs. He loved his family deeply. He was a special “Uncle Johnie” not just to his own nieces & nephews, but to other kids from church and the neighborhood as well. Everyone who knew Johnie loved him and he leaves them many fond memories.

The visitation will be 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 09, 2021 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating the service will be Bro. Winford May. Burial will be at Gray Rock Cemetery in Phil Campbell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Della Viola & Oscar Woodall; his birth father, Leonard Snider; sister-in-law, Charlotte Lawson; and nephew, Chase Davis.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 51 years, Kathy Davis Snider; daughter of his heart, Traci Montgomery (Micky); special grands, Mason Montgomery (Jerri Beth), Caleb Montgomery, Les Montgomery, Gracie Montgomery, Autumn Montgomery; great-grand, Eilonwy Montgomery; siblings, Deb, Brenda, Joyce, Wilma, Barbara, Sam, Mike; mother-in-law, Sue Nell Davis; sister-in-law, Sarah Hodge (Larry); brothers-in-law, Randy Davis (Gayle), Billy Lawson; and several very special nieces & nephews.

The family would like to extend a sincere thanks to Misty Gibson (his home health nurse), as well as to the nurses and staff of North Alabama Medical Center for the love and care shown to our family.

Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
