John Willie Chilton, age 78, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Monday, June 26th, 2023, at Magnolia Healthcare Center in Columbia.
He was born September 25th, 1944, in Lewisburg, to the late Joe Chilton and Bessie Lee Rodgers Chilton. He was a retired Truck Driver for the Marshall County Highway Department.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Marie Keel Chilton in 2021.
He is survived by two daughters, Patsy Roddy and Kim (Bubba) Cozart; son, Troy Chilton, all of Lewisburg; one sister, Betty Ballinger, and one brother, Marcus Chilton, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, June 29th, 2023, at 1:00 pm from the Short Cemetery with burial to follow.
Visitation with the family will be held at London Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 28th, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm and will continue on Thursday, June 29th, 2023 until 12:30pm.
