John William Short – Obituary

John William Short, 79, of Huntsville, passed away Thursday. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from the Huntsville Fire Department.

Mr. Short is survived by his wife, Louise Short; daughter, Johna Renee Miller (Billy W.); grandson, Jimmy Wade Miller; granddaughter, Kelsey Renee Miller; sister, Martha Potter; brother, Bobby Short; two step daughters, Kathy Weeks and Belinda Wooten, three step grandsons; two step great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a 1:00 chapel service. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery.
