Mr. John William Perry, 52, of Rienz, passed away unexpectedly on July 21, 2024, in Booneville. His service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Magnolia Funeral Home SOUTH. Minister Kevin Hall will officiate the service. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m.–11 a.m. July 25, 2024, at Magnolia Funeral Home SOUTH. Pallbearers will be Caison Harkey, Nathan Pharr, Jeremy Pharr, Chad Potts, Jeff Anthony and Randy Hill. Burial will follow in Magnolia Gardens. John was born on January 29, 1972, in Booneville. He attended Rienzi Elementary, Booneville High School, and earned his Technology Degree in Automotive Mechanics from NEMCC. He was a member of North Rienzi Church of Christ. John worked for the Town of Rienzi and was self-employed in Lawn Services. John enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved his nephews and always looked forward to seeing them. He enjoyed all things outdoors including fishing, riding ATVs and the beach. He is survived by his Parents, John B. and Johnnie (Pharr) Perry, Brother: Jason L. Perry (Savannah), Sister: Ashley Perry (Jeff Anthony & Cooper), Nephews: Caison Harkey, Tate Perry, and West Perry, Aunts: Sue Perry, Martha Shields (Jesse), and Brenda Pharr Jacobs (J.W.); Uncle: Stanley L. Perry (Deborah), along with other relatives and a host of friends. John was preceded in death by: Maternal Grandparents, Houston & Estelle Pharr, Paternal Grandparents, Lewis E. & Helen Edge Perry and Uncles: Earl Marion Perry, George Pharr and Jerry Pharr. In lieu of flowers the family wishes for donations to be made to Pine Vale Children’s Home in Corinth. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. John W. Perry.
