John Wesley Irish
Entombment service for Jack Irish, age 84, of Decatur, who died Sunday,
July 10, 2022, at Summerford Health and Rehab, will be Tuesday, February
22, 2022, 10:15 a.m. at Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church
Columbarium.
Mr. Irish was born November 28, 1937, in Wisconsin, to Wesley Irish and
June VanBeek Irish. He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
Mr. Irish worked as a Customer Service Manager for various airlines for
more than 40 years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved cheering for his favorite football team the Green Bay Packers . He also talked to everyone and never met a stranger.
He is survived by one son, Jon Irish (Virginia) of Decatur; two
daughters, Jill Irish Brown (Jeff) and Jodi Irish Goolsby, both of
Decatur; six grandchildren, Christina McMillion (Mason) of Huntsville,
Taylor Brown of Decatur, Ali Brown of Birmingham, Abigail Goolsby of
Decatur, Wiley Irish of Decatur, and Wesley Irish of Decatur.
