John “Tommy” Hancock – Obituary

Funeral service for John “Tommy” Hancock, 50, from Decatur, will be today at 3 p.m. at Ridout’s Brown-Service Funeral Home with Brother Randy Berry officiating and Ridout’s Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
Tommy, who died Friday, May 10, 2013, was born on June 28, 1962, in Dothan to Robert and Betty Hancock. He was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Austinville. He is preceded in death by his brother, Tony Hancock.

He is survived by his parents, Robert (Bob) and Betty Hancock, Decatur; two nephews, Christoper Hancock and Benjamin Hancock; two nieces, Emily Hancock and Savannah Hancock; and four uncles, Rayford Hancock, Tom Hancock, Harry Hancock, and Larry Hancock; one aunt, Shirley Cook from Lenoir City, Tennessee; and a host of cousins.
