John Thomas “Tommy” Luker, age 81, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia,TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Murray Ohio, and of the Baptist faith.Tommy loved to fish and woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mitchell “Tex” and Lena Alberta Harris Luker; one son, Rodney Luker; two sisters, Gloria Rayfield and Shirley Luker; one brother, Harvey Luker; and one grandson, Tyler McFall.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Hannah Luker of Lawrenceburg, TN; two daughters, Melissa Willis of Westpoint, TN, and Rebecca Daniel (Dennis) of Ethridge,TN; one step-son, Trae Adams of Lawrenceburg,TN; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM Friday, November 15, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 12:00 PM Friday, November 15, 2024, with Ann Outlaw officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Leoma, TN.
