John Ronald Ezell, 81 of Rogersville, AL passed from this life on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018 at his home.
Ronald was a member of Center Star Church of Christ. He was a Veteran of the Army and retired from TVA Brown’s Ferry as a pipefitter/steamfitter.
Ronald was married to his loving wife Linda Britton for 57 years. Just after he went into the Army draft, he and Linda eloped and were married in 1960. Ronald loved to fish, garden and watch college football. He also loved his special pets, Moe and Missy.
Visitation will be held today from 12-2:00 p.m. at Center Star Church of Christ. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Bill Lyons officiating and special family friend Morris Lentz leading singing. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Edwin “Shine” and Lillie Ezell; brothers, Larry, William Edwin “Bill”, Pat and Hilton Ezell; sister, Angela Hice.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Ezell; daughters, Aletha Ann Dison (Bob), Rhonda Leigh Ezell (David Deering); grandchildren, Haley Kathleen Dison and Robert Trent Dison; sisters, Elizabeth Aday, Joyce Robinson (Sidney) and Doris Hites; brother, Jimmy Ezell (Beverly); sisters-in-law, Peggy and Kathy Ezell.
Pallbearers will be David Deering, Bob Dison, Jimmy Ezell, Danny Stafford, Larry Pettus and Eddie Behel. Honorary pallbearers will be Trent Dison, Sidney Robinson, Jesse Davis, Doug Harvey and Donnie Putman.
