John Robert “Johnny” Scroggins, Sr., age 47, went to be with our Lord Friday, February 7, 2014 at his home in Culleoka, TN.
Johnny was born June 26, 1966 to the late Albert Scroggins & Mary “Johnson” Scroggins in Columbia, TN. Johnny worked as a painter for J&S Painting. Johnny was of the Baptist faith.
Services for Johnny will be Tuesday, February 11 at 2:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home Columbia, with burial to follow at Polk Memorial Gardens. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, February 11 from 12:00 noon until time of service. Bro. Jim Ledbetter will officiate the service.
Pallbearers will include: David Pruitt, Sam Scroggins, J.D. Johnson, Gary Pruitt, “Burhead” Scroggins, & Bobby Wade Johnson.
Honorary Pallbearers will include: Employees of J&S Painting, and employees of Maury Regional Medical Center Plant Operations.
Johnny is survived by: Wife; Janice Scroggins, Daughter; Bethany (Scotty) Riddle of Culleoka, Son; John Robert (Erika) Scroggins, II of Mt. Pleasant, Step-daughters; Audrey Agent of Mt. Pleasant, Laura Aviles of Alabama, Grandsons; Tristian Scroggins, & Tanner Scroggins of Mt. Pleasant, Brothers; Jerry Wayne (Jackie) Scroggins, & Jeff Scroggins of Culleoka, 7 nieces & nephews, and 10 great nieces & nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father Albert Scroggins.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
