John Robert Hunter, Sr., went to his heavenly home on May 5, 2021.
His visitation will be Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with services following at 1:00 p.m. Visitation, services and burial will be at Williams Chapel United Methodist Church. Rev. Lisa Aaron will officiate.
Johnny enjoyed hunting and fishing with his boys when his health still allowed him to and always enjoyed family get-togethers especially with his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his Parents-Doyle Hunter and Iona Snow Walton; Stepfather-Junior Walton; Sister and Brother-in-law-Virginia and James Bennett; Nephew-Jay Bennett; Daughter-Marsha Hunter Clark.
He is survived by the mother of his children-Barbara Hunter Cleveland; Sons-John Jr., Mark and Edmund Hunter; Daughters-Connie Williams and Christina Quinn; Special Niece-Leona Bennett Roberts; Sister-Patricia Trombly; Brother-Wayne Hunter; Grandchildren-Marsha and Brooke Williams, Lynzi, Logan and Carter Hunter, B.J. and Cara Thompson, Alicia and Jessica Clark; 5 Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Logan Hunter, Mike Roberts, Chris Sharit, Curtis Gray, James Smith and Daniel Camp.
