John Robert Carlson Jr., 42, of Caseville, Michigan, formerly of Waterloo, died June 1, 2013 in Saginaw, Michigan.
Born June 9, 1970 in Wayne, Michigan to the late John Robert Sr. and Sharon Ann (Louis) Carlson. He graduated from Waterloo High School. John lived a simple and joy filled life with Down Syndrome. He was a proud honorary fireman with the Waterloo Fire Department, enjoyed going to church at Sheffield Presbyterian, participating in Special Olympics and was a huge Michael Jackson fan.
Survived by his grandmother with whom he lived, Bobbie Towler; aunts and uncles Debbie (Robert) Sielaff, Steven (Cindy) Towler, Kathy (Ron) Siepierski and Robert L. Towler, all of Michigan; and many other family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents; and grandfather Robert K. Towler.
