John Richard Sisk, Jr., age 66, of Decatur, entered into eternal rest on April 23, 2013. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 26, 2013, at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Decatur.
John was born February 19, 1947, in Pittsburg, Kansas, and graduated from East High School in Wichita in 1965. He attended Wichita State University and served in the U.S. Navybefore working at Cessna and Boeing in Wichita. He transferred to Huntsville with Boeing in 1986, and retired from there in 2010.
John was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. He greatly enjoyed playing golf, marshaling at Cedar Ridge Golf Course, and volunteering at Clearview Cancer Institute over the past year.
John is survived by his wife, Ramona Roberts Sisk; daughters, Jaime McDaniel (Blake) and Robyn Bragg (Michael); sister, Cindy Renard; nephew, Lukas Renard of Wichita; niece, Irene Mitsumori of Orlando, FL; and granddaughters, Riley Bragg, Evie McDaniel, and Ruby McDaniel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Richard Sisk Sr. and Gwen Sisk Anderson; and his brother, Brian Sisk.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the American Cancer Society is requested.
