John Rayford Dixon Jr., 77, died Saturday, July 7, 2012, after a brief illness. Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. today at Loretto (Tenn.) Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
