John Preston Campbell, 73, Russellville, passed away on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013 at Russellville Hospital.
He was a retired machinist at TVA.
The visitation will be 6–8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, at Spry Memorial Chapel. Officiating at the service will be Brother Roger Martin and Brother Tim Smith. Burial will follow at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Helen Campbell; brother, Jimmy Campbell; sister, Peggy Anglin; and daughter, Sandra Fisher.
He is survived by wife of 40 years, Emma Jean Campbell; daughter, Ellen (Jimmy) Patrick; grandchildren, Chris Fisher, Ashley (Jeff) Slatton, Adam Fisher, Haylee Patrick; great-grandchildren, Aaron Fisher, Brittany Fisher, Harlee Fisher; and several nieces and nephews.
The pallbearers will be Doug Saint, Tim Murray, Richard McGee, Freddie Pounders and Barry Smallwood. The honorary pallbearers will be Obie McDougle and Gary Quinn.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses at Terrace Manor Nursing Home; the nurses of Russellville Hospital ICU, and the nurses at first floor west at ECM Hospital for their love and care of our family.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
