John Paul Koonce, 97, of Ripley passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Lauderdale Community Hospital. Visitation will begin at 1 PM Wednesday at Garner Funeral Home in Ripley with graveside services and military honors to follow at 2 PM in Grace Cemetery.
Mr. Koonce was retired from the United States Air Force and also a retired civil servant.
He is survived by a son Steve Koonce (Janice) of Ripley; 3 sisters Betty Craig and Patsy Massongill both of Ripley and Hope baker of Olive Branch, MS and a granddaughter Stacey Autry of Florida. He was preceded in death by a son John Michael Koonce.
