John Murrell McKinney passed away Thursday, January 21st, 2021 at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point in Hudson, Florida. He was born on July 24th, 1942 in Frankewing, Tennessee and was 78 years old.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force where he served as a firefighter. He was a retired firefighter for Metro Davidson County. John loved to travel and enjoyed being next to the Gulf Coast.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 29th from 11:00am until 1:00pm with a graveside service to follow at 2:00pm at Pisgah Cemetery.

He is preceded in death by his parents Robert Howard and Miriam Wise McKinney
He is survived by;
Sister, Elaine Taylor of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Sister, June Baldini of Hendersonville, Tennessee.
Brother, Bob (Diane) McKinney of Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
