John Mickey Fowler John Mickey Fowler, 78 of Toney, Alabama was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at 9:05 am. He was born September 4th, 1945, to Rollie Everett and Mary Elizabeth Bottom Fowler of the Bethel Community and born-again September 11, 2007, into the Kingdom of God. He worshiped at and was a member of Wooley Springs Baptist Church in Toney, Alabama.

Mickey, as he was known to most, was the President and Founder of Fowler Auction and Real Estate Service, Inc., National Auctioneer Association Hall of Fame Member, Alabama Auctioneer Hall of Fame member and a true staple in the auction community. He was an avid community member and supporter of many school and civic groups. He was well-known and loved as a generous giver. He was a classic car enthusiast and loved traveling with Pat and friends, especially to car shows. His family called him Mr. Fowler, Daddy, Pa, Mr. Mickey and brother.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Rollie Everett Fowler, Jr., Elliott Lafayette Fowler, Spencer Harold Fowler, Robert Bottom Fowler, and Thomas Ray Fowler, his sisters Evangeline Fowler Franklin Parks, and Drucilla Fowler Barnett as well as several nieces and a nephew.

Mickey is survived by his wife Pat Teresa Posey Jones Fowler, daughters, Betsye Fowler Spencer (Michael); Lisa Fowler Butler (Greg); Amy Fowler; Nickie Jones Randolph (Jeff); Tiffany Jones Rolin (Bo); his grandchildren Aaron Spencer (Hannah), Elizabeth Spencer; Jake Butler (Courtney); Emily Butler Nelson (Kenny); Peyton Randolph Ramirez (Shawn); Clay Randolph (Sydney); Tre Rolin, Jevan Rolin; great-grandchildren John Spencer, Elisha Spencer, Ruth Spencer, Aliyah Nelson, Ivy Nelson, Jarrett Butler; Grayson Ramirez; brother James William Fowler (Phyllis), Sister-in law Thelma Fowler; son by choice, Daniel Culps, Fowler Auction Staff, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

There will be a time for visitation with family on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from 1 PM to 4 PM with a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 4:00 PM at Wooley Springs Baptist Church The family will have a private graveside service following the Celebration of Life at Hatchett Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the Ardmore High School Foundation at the First National Bank of Ardmore, Tennessee.

The family will host a less formal Celebration of Life at the office of Fowler Auction in Toney, Alabama for those who cannot attend services on Tuesday. The date and time will be announced at a later date.
