John Michael Mingledorff, age 67, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, September 12, 2022, in Jackson, TN. All services are under the direction of the Bells Funeral Home. Mr. Mingledorff was born in Jackson, TN, on September 5, 1955, to the late John Marion and Patricia Yvonne Alexander Mingledorff. He was an entrepreneur, managing rental properties and also was the owner and operator of Mike Mingledorff Systems. He specialized in audio equipment and installation of sound systems. Mr. Mingledorff enjoyed music and played with many of the area artists. He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Sam and Helen Alexander; one daughter: Jennifer Marion Mingledorff and one sister: Patricia Hathcock and his best friend: Mr. Charley Baker. He is survived by his wife of over 42 years: Phyllis Lynn Burns Mingledorff; one son: Jason Wayne Nanney (Rachel); one daughter: Ashley Michelle Benson (Derek) all of Jackson, TN; two brothers: Marc Mingledorff (Kim) of Jackson, TN, Sam Mingledorff (Debbie) of Lebonon, TN. He leaves a legacy of two grandsons: Porter and Rowan Benson; And numerous friends and extended family. A Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of Mr. Mingledorff will be announced at a later date by the Bells Funeral Home
