Memorial service for John Merrill Wilkinson, 91, will be Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 7:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 28, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Wilkinson died on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born May 22, 1922, in Jefferson County to Francis Marion Wilkinson and Mary Francis (Pounds) Wilkinson. Mr. Wilkinson was a World War II veteran and a great man who was loved by all. He owned and operated Discount Auto Parts, in Hueytown and in Priceville, AL. He was preceded in death by his wife: Agnes Christine Wilkinson, five brothers, and two sisters.
Survivors include: One Son: John Wilkinson,Jr.
Two Daughters: Christine Borgman and Myrtice Randall (Jim)
