John McCaleb Fay – Obituary

John McCaleb Fay died Wednesday, July 8, in Huntsville. He was born January 9, 1973, to Edward Dwight Fay and Marjorie Gail Fay.

A graduate of Huntsville High School, Mr. Fay was awarded both a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Montevallo.

He was owner/operator of a number of small businesses in California and Alabama. Most recently, he was a computer programmer with Totally Infused, Inc. of Huntsville.

Mr. Fay was a Christian, currently affiliated with the United Methodist faith.

He is survived by both parents; one brother, CDR Edward D. Fay, III, USN (retired), and wife, Megan; as well as two beloved nieces, Maura Elizabeth Fay and Madeline Christine Fay. He is also survived by his dog, Nixi.

A robust and good-humored man, he bravely and valiantly combated bipolar disorder most of his adult life. He is now at peace and will spend eternity with his loving and compassionate God.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, July 13, at Maple Hill Cemetery with The Rev. Dr. Glenn Conner and Rev. Coy Hallmark officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greater Huntsville Humane Society or a favorite charity.
